Another visitor in year 2

On Thursday morning year 2 were lucky to have another visitor! Eden's aunty, Suzanne, who is a nurse at Warrington hospital came in to give a short talk about her role as a nurse. She explained the daily jobs a nurse has and showed us some of the equipment when caring for other people such as her stethoscope and pen torch. During her talk she was kind enough to show us how to use the stethoscope correctly. Using it we then listened to Keira's heart which was a lot quieter than we had anticipated although we assure you it was still beating! Finally, after answering the questions we had for her she demonstrated how to bandage a patients arm.

It was a very interesting and inspiring experience so thank you again Suzanne and thank you for leaving us some equipment that we can add to our role play area too: the superhuman surgery!
