Year 6 have been learning about Democracy in this country and abroad. They talked about how democracy works in school.

ET said, " We have our own rules in school. If someone gets bullied they go to the Anti Bullying Ambassadors. Our school councillors and book worms are voted for by us"

LM said, " In this country we get the vote. We voted for the pupil council. We wrote down who we wanted to vote for in secret. Everyone has rights."

AC said, " Democracy means everyone has a vote, if they are over 18 and not in prison. Our Anti Bullying Ambassadors had to do a speech in assembly. We need to respect different religions. We have freedom of speech."

GC said, " We have a government in the country and a school council in school. We have the sports crew as well. We are free to do what we want, as long as it's not against the law. The MPs decide on the laws"
