Yr2 at Musuem of Science and Industry

Class: Year 2 Year: 2015 - 2016

On Monday year 2 visited Manchester's Museum of Science and Industry as part of their transport topic. Upon arrival we took part in the Inventors Wanted Workshop which taught us about the old Penny Farthing bicycles and all about how the bikes of today were invented. We also learnt all about gears and how they helped with the invention of bikes. After the workshop we visited the experiment room and did lots of problem solving applying our scientific and mathematical knowledge. This was great fun. After all this problem solving we stopped for lunch before visiting the Air and Space Hall to look at the models.
