Nursery Admissions
Highfield Nursery has a 52 place Nursery which is run by two qualified teachers, a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistants and a nurturing, experienced Welfare Assistant.
We can offer 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions or 2.5 full days e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday am or Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday. Extra sessions can also be paid for to 'top up' the 15 hours entitlement. 30 hour Nursery provision is also available for working parents. To check eligibility, just click on the link below and follow the advice.
Nursery applications for 15 or 30 hours childcare should be made directly to the school by completion of a Nursery Application online form. This can be found under the tab 'Nursery Admissiins' int thsi section of the website.

Starting School in September 2026

Parents and Carers who may be applying for a Reception 2026 place at Highfield Community Primary School are welcome to come and view the school and meet the Headteacher. Please ring the School Office on 01244 259650 to make an appointment.
