Nursery Admissions
Highfield Nursery has a 52 place Nursery which is run by two qualified teachers, two highly skilled and experienced Teaching Assistants and a Welfare Assistant.
We can offer 5 morning sessions or 5 afternoon sessions or 2.5 full days e.g. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday am or Wednesday pm, Thursday and Friday. Extra sessions can also be paid for to 'top up' the 15 hours entitlement. 30 hour Nursery provision is also available for working parents. Nursery applications for 15 or 30 hours childcare should be made directly to the school by completion of an Nursery Application Form, available from the School Office or via the website.
School Admissions
Starting School in September 2024
Admissions for September 2024 will open on the 1st September 2023. The Local Authority will publish furhter information following the consultation proce3ss in due course. We will provide the link to the admissions page here.
Parents and Carers who may be applying for a Reception 2024 place at Highfield Community Primary School are welcome to come and view the school and meet the Headteacher. Please ring the School Office on 01244 259650 to make an appointment.
Transferring to Secondary School in September 2024
Admissions for September 2024 are currently closed and will open on 1st September 2023. Further details and a link to the application process will be added here once published by the Local Authority.
In Year Admissions
The School Governors are responsible for all in year admissions.
