Awareness Friday

Every half term, a charity nominated by a member of staff, a parent or a pupil is chosen as part of our commitment to raising awareness and funds for local, national or international issues. Throughout the term each class will learn a little more about the charity Highfield is supporting and wherever possible, we like to invite someone from the charity out come and speak to the children about the work that will happen as a result of their fundraising efforts. If you have a charity which you would like us to support, please come and talk to Mrs Pritchard in the school office.

Each Friday the children have the opportunity to wear non-uniform and donate money to our chosen charity. All funds raised by the end of the half term are totalled and donated to the chosen charity.
