Welcome to the Parents' Part of our school website!

Your role in your child's education is vital to us and we really see your child's time at Highfield as a journey that only works if we have a strong partnership between your home and our school. You will be invited into school on many occasions to celebrate and share in your children's achievements, activities and target setting. 

Every Friday morning at 9.10am we hold our Number One celebration assembly that you are always welcome to attend. If your child is receiving a special school award that week - don't worry, we'll drop you a text so you don't miss that magic moment!

Also, each term you are invited to come into the classroom to learn alongside your child and find out more about how they learn. If you get the learning bug, there are always Family Learning Courses that you can attend each week here at school, too. Just pop into the office or email for more information. 

As our new website grows you will find new information added each week, and as always, if you would like to see something in particular sitting on these pages then please tell us. Your views matter to us!

Does your child have Special Educational Needs? What is the school and local offer?

There are many ways we support our children with additional needs and we are very proud of the way we do this as it is always in consultation with parents. The school's offer is just one example of this. We worked really hard with our parents and the local community during 2014/2015 to put together our offer to you. This can be found below with some of our most useful policies as well as in the full policy list that is currently developing on our site. Cheshire West and Chester also have their offer which is available to view on the link below.
